Mr. Paperback caters to all readers, young and old, with aisles and aisles of books. If we don't have it in stock, we'll order it for you. We can also help you find that hard to find or out of print book you've been searching for. All hardcover New York Times Best Sellers are discounted 25% and bargain table books are priced to go! Our books on tape may be purchased or rented.
Need a special card for that very special person! We've just given our card section a facelift! Come in and browse through cards by Blue Mountain, Renaissance, Marian Heath, Oatmeal, Portal, Avanti, Red Farm Studio, etc. On Sundays, ALL counter cards are 25% off, excluding already discounted cards and Boyd's greeting cards. With our wide selection, you are sure to find the perfect card.
We've also expanded our gift section just for you. We carry giftware from Revelations, Crazy Mountain, Tile Art Trivets, Dreamsicles, Heritage Pewter Wind Chimes, Glass Baron, Bridgewater Candles, Boyd's Resin and Camille Beckman, just to name a few. Remember - gift wrapping if FREE.
For the Beanie Collector, we offer TY Beanies, Buddies, Attic Treasures, Beanie Kids and Beanie Boppers! We also carry a wide range of Boyd's bear collectibles and well-known Russ products.
Our gift section also includes specialty items for weddings, anniversaries and babies, as well as "over the hill" birthdays. Come register with us for your wedding or new baby. We also transfer items from other Mr. Paperback's if we don't have it in stock.
Don't forget to check out our Maine souvenirs and giftware". New items include local maple syrup, maple sugar candy, mugs, Caribou ornaments, plush moose and 2003 Maine Calendar. Locally, we are still carrying photographs by Caribou's Owen Jackson, available framed or matted, its a perfect gift to take back home. In addition, we have in stock Kate McCartney's Cookbooks. Kate and her husband, Kevin, are owners of the Old Iron Inn Bed & Breakfast in Caribou. Looking for the video's "Coming of the Swedes" and "Stan's", Mr. Paperback has those too.
